Labour largest party on Falkirk Council

LABOUR has emerged as the largest party on Council, winning 14 of the 32 seats in the May 3 Council elections. The result was announced at Grangemouth Sports Complex on Friday afternoon.

In Grangemouth, Allyson Black was re-elected alongside Labour newcomer Joan Paterson.

The full list of Labour councillors on Falkirk Council are:

  • Bo’ness and Blackness – Adrian Mahoney
  • Grangemouth – Allyson Black and Joan Paterson
  • Denny and Banknock – Jim Blackwood
  • Carse, Kinnaird and Tryst – Charles MacDonald and Craig Martin
  • Bonnybridge and Larbert – Linda Gow
  • Falkirk North – Craig R. Martin and Pat Reid
  • Falkirk South – Dennis Goldie and Gerry Goldie
  • Lower Braes – Alan Nimmo
  • Upper Braes – John McLuckie and Rosie Murray.
